Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website operated by Cityscape Cleaning Crew LLC (“Cityscape Cleaning Crew,” “the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and the residential cleaning services booked through it. Please read them carefully.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing this website or booking a cleaning service through it, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use this website or our services.

2. Description of Services

Cityscape Cleaning Crew provides residential cleaning services in the Greater Boston area. We coordinate bookings and arrange for experienced, background-checked, independent cleaning professionals (“Cleaners”) to perform the requested services. We facilitate scheduling, communication, and payment through our platform.

Cleaners are independent contractors and not employees of the Company. We do not control the precise manner in which a Cleaner performs the work, though we set service standards and may decline to continue working with a Cleaner who does not meet them.

3. Booking and Payment

When booking a service, you agree to:

If a Cleaner arrives as scheduled but is unable to perform the service because access was not provided, or because conditions at the property are unsafe (for example, hazardous materials, aggressive animals, or unsafe structural conditions), the booking may be charged in full or subject to a $50 lockout fee.

Residential cleaning services are generally not subject to sales tax in Massachusetts. Where any tax or third-party processing fee does apply, it will be reflected in your total at checkout.

4. Satisfaction Promise

Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are unsatisfied with the quality of a cleaning, please notify us within 24 hours of the completed service and describe the affected areas.

5. Insurance

The Company maintains general liability insurance covering its cleaning operations. Details of coverage are available on request.

6. Liability

Except where prohibited by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to a cleaning service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question.

Any claim for property damage must be reported to us within 48 hours of the completion of the service so that we can review and address it promptly. We are not responsible for normal wear and tear, pre-existing damage, or damage to fragile, delicate, antique, high-value, or improperly mounted or installed items, unless caused by our or a Cleaner's negligence.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 93A (the Consumer Protection Act) or liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company and its Cleaners from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms, your provision of inaccurate information, or unsafe or hazardous conditions at your property that you failed to disclose.

8. Use License

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use this website to learn about and book our services. You may not:

9. Disclaimer

The website and its materials are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, with respect to the website and its content. This disclaimer does not limit the service commitments set out in Sections 4 and 6, and does not affect any rights you have under Massachusetts law that cannot be waived.

10. Privacy

Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the site, you consent to those practices.

11. Revisions and Updates

We may update or modify website content, pricing, or these Terms at any time. Material changes to these Terms will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of our site or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Pricing for a confirmed booking will not change after you have booked it.

12. Third-Party Links

Our website may include links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement.

13. Dispute Resolution

Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us at contact@cityscapecleaningcrew.com or (857) 290-7080 so we can attempt to resolve the matter informally. If we cannot resolve it, any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts, and you and the Company consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
